• Freelance: £300 per day CIS

We are currently searching for a Site Engineer to join one of the UK’s busiest Main Contractors. This company specialises in the residential sector and delivers high-rise private residential, student accommodation and hotel schemes.

The project is currently at Groundworks stage with the RC Frame package due to start in 2 months.

The role:

• Ensure that all setting out is completed accurately and to the required standards
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of setting out information
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety regulations
• Liaise with site management and subcontractors to ensure smooth running of the project
• Attend regular site meetings to provide updates on progress and any issues encountered
• Provide technical support to other members of the team as required
• Work closely with the project team to ensure deadlines are met

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Setting Out Engineer is essential
• Strong RC Frame experience is essential
• Degree or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Strong knowledge of setting out techniques and equipment
• Good understanding of Health and Safety regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Proficient in the use of relevant software and tools
