Site Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join the delivery team on a National Highways project along the M25. This is a major highways improvement scheme involving complex traffic management, civils works, and strict safety and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
·Set out works in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
·Oversee and coordinate site activities to ensure works are delivered safely, to programme, and to the required quality.
·Ensure compliance with National Highways standards (DMRB, MCHW) and project-specific specifications.
·Manage and record site quality assurance documentation (ITPs, check sheets, as-builts).
·Liaise with the Site Manager, Project Manager, and client representatives on technical and progress matters.
·Conduct site surveys and interpret design drawings for setting out.
·Monitor subcontractor works, ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance.
·Assist in resolving any technical or site issues promptly.

Requirements:
·Previous experience as a Site Engineer on major highways schemes, ideally within the National Highways framework.
·Strong setting out skills with GPS, total stations, and AutoCAD proficiency.
·Good understanding of CDM regulations and safety standards in a highways environment.
·Excellent knowledge of construction processes for drainage, earthworks, pavements, and structures.
·Relevant qualifications: HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
·CSCS card essential; SMSTS/SSSTS desirable.
·Valid UK driving licence.
