Site Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a major earthworks package on a large-scale infrastructure project based in Hertford. This is a freelance contract expected to run for 4 months, with the potential for further work beyond.

Key Details:

• Location: Hertford

• Duration: 4 months

• Rate: £300 – £400 per day 

• Start: ASAP

• Project: Large-scale earthworks package

Responsibilities:

• Setting out for bulk earthworks, drainage and enabling works

• Managing QA and site documentation

• Liaising with site management, subcontractors and the wider engineering team

• Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with design and specifications

• Conducting site surveys and as-builts

Requirements:

• Proven experience on large earthworks or civils projects

• Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or similar

• Proficiency with AutoCAD and surveying equipment (GPS, Leica/Trimble etc.)

• CSCS card

• Right to work in the UK
