Site Engineer

We are recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major Highways and Earthworks package based in Norwich. This is a long-term contract position with competitive rates and excellent project exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying for highways and earthworks operations

• Checking technical drawings and ensuring compliance with specifications

• Supporting the Site Management team in delivering works safely and efficiently

• Managing quality assurance and producing site documentation

• Coordinating with subcontractors and reporting progress to senior management

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on highways, earthworks, or heavy civils projects

• Proficient in setting out using GPS and total stations

• Strong understanding of health, safety, and quality standards

• CSCS card essential; SSSTS or SMSTS advantageous

• Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or related field desirable
