Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer – (CIS)

A great opportunity for a Site Engineer with experience in civil engineering and structures to join a large and growing contractor operating in the London area. The successful Site Engineer will join a successful team that is growing due to several contract wins. The successful Site Engineer will be a self-starter with strong communication skills.

The opportunity would suit a Site Engineer with experience in civil engineering, ideally with some experience in structural engineering.  The successful Site Engineer will likely have the following qualifications and experience.

Person Profile

• Experience in setting out for groundworks and civil engineering packages
• Strong QA/QC knowledge.
• Skilled in reading engineering drawings and ensuring the setting out is to specification
• Proficient in the use of total stations.
• A degree qualified civil engineer or equivalent experience would be preferred but not essential.
• Experience working as an engineer on site.
• Work well independently as well as in a team environment.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
• CSCS
