CarmichaelUK are working with a Tier 1 Contractor on the HS2 project and are looking to recruit a Site Engineer with either structures or highways experience to join the team in Buckinghamshire.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role on Europe’s largest infrastructure project, with long-term opportunities available across multiple sections.
Key Responsibilities-
Setting out works in line with design drawings and specifications

Assisting in supervising construction activities, ensuring quality and compliance

Managing permits, requisitions, and materials orders

Preparing site documentation, reports and carrying out as-built surveys

Liaising with Sub Agents, Section Engineers, Foremen and subcontractors

Monitoring progress against programme, identifying and resolving site issues

Carrying out quality checks and ensuring safety standards are maintained

HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)

Experience in highways or structures is essential

Strong setting out and surveying skills (Total Station / GPS)

Proficiency with AutoCAD and other engineering software
-
CSCS card holder
-
Full UK driving licence
