Site Engineer

RTL Group are seeking a competent and proactive Site Engineer to join an earthworks and civils project based in Doncaster. The role is an 8-month contract, perfect for someone experienced in managing day-to-day site activities, ensuring project specifications and deadlines are met while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate earthworks and civil engineering activities on site

• Ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and health & safety regulations

• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and project management teams

• Conduct site inspections, prepare reports, and update progress documentation

• Assist with risk assessments and method statements

• Support problem-solving and efficient site operations

Requirements:

• Proven site engineering experience in earthworks and civils projects

• Strong knowledge of construction processes and health & safety standards

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

• Good communication and organisational skills

• CSCS card and relevant qualifications

• Available for the full 8-month contract period
