Site Engineer Major Energy Infrastructure ProjectContract: ASAP September 2027Sector: Energy / Civil Engineering / InfrastructureWe are recruiting an experienced Site Engineer to join a major energy infrastructure project in the North East of Scotland. This long-term opportunity involves the delivery of significant civil engineering works, including earthworks, substations, converter station infrastructure, platforms and associated facilities.The successful candidate will support the project engineering team, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required technical, quality and programme standards. Accommodation is provided.Key Responsibilities- Support the senior project team in implementing the engineering strategy.- Provide technical support and verify works undertaken by others.- Manage allocated materials, plant and labour safely and efficiently.- Ensure design information, procedures and quality requirements are clearly communicated.- Support audits, inspections and project assurance activities.- Liaise with consultants, suppliers and delivery teams.- Ensure engineering works are fit for purpose from design through to installation.- Consider CDM, statutory requirements, site conditions and project constraints.- Support procurement, material control and progress reporting.- Maintain quality assurance and quality control standards.- Promote continuous improvement, innovation, sustainability and Zero Harm.Experience and Qualifications- Previous ..... full job details .....
