Remarkable people, trusted by clients to design and advance the world.Wood Transmission and Distribution Ltd are recruiting for a Site Engineer (enabling works) with a Civils bias to join an Overhead Lines Project (OHL) in Argyle, Scotland. You will focus on supporting the team in enabling works phase of the overhead lines sites prior to tower assembly and erection.As a Civils Site Engineer, you will oversee daily health and safety protocols for staff and subcontractors, report incidents, manage project resources, ensure compliance with safety standards, support the Construction and Project Managers with documentation and reporting, and coordinate effectively with all stakeholders.

This role is site-based on a long-term project in Argyll supporting our client SSE.#LI-OnsiteThe RoleReporting to the OHL Construction Manager, you will oversee the Enabling Works and Access Roads management team, coordinate foremen and subcontractors, liaise with clients and third parties, and manage the setting People to Work process, including onboarding and site inductions. You will support a growing workload across overhead lines (OHL) projects, contributing to the UK’s pathway to 2030 and net zero transition.This role is suitable for someone seeking a sideways move or their next step as a Site Engineer.
