Site Engineer - Civil Engineering / Piling / Reinforced ConcreteLocation: Brighton, East SussexRate: Up to 350 per day (LTD)Contract: Long-term freelanceStart Date: ASAPJob DescriptionWe are urgently seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a long-term civil engineering project in Brighton, East Sussex.This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer with experience in setting out, piling and reinforced concrete works. The successful candidate will support the site team in delivering complex engineering operations, ensuring accuracy, quality and compliance with project specifications.Strong CAD capability is essential, alongside practical site engineering experience and the ability to interpret and amend technical drawings.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out setting out for civil engineering and structural works, including piling and reinforced concrete.Establish and maintain site control points, benchmarks and survey references.Interpret construction drawings, specifications and engineering information.Undertake dimensional checks, level surveys, as-built surveys and quality inspections.Provide engineering support for piling operations, including pile positions, coordinates, levels and tolerances.Support reinforced concrete works, including foundations, pile caps, ground beams and associated structural elements where applicable.Check reinforcement details, formwork dimensions and concrete levels against approved drawings.Assist with pre-pour inspections and ..... full job details .....
