Freelance Site Engineer - Setting Out (BPSS)Location: Sizewell C, SuffolkContract: Freelance / ContractDuration: Long-termStart Date: ASAPRate: Competitive, dependent on experienceWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major construction project at Sizewell C, Suffolk, working on a desalination plant package.The successful candidate will have strong site engineering and setting-out experience and will be comfortable working within a large-scale, highly regulated construction environment.This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK''s most significant infrastructure projects and gain further experience within the nuclear sector.The RoleAs Site Engineer, you will provide technical and engineering support to the site team, with a particular focus on setting out, dimensional control and ensuring construction works are delivered accurately and in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.Key responsibilities will include:Setting out works accurately using Total Station, GPS/GNSS and other surveying equipment.Providing day-to-day engineering support to the Site Manager and construction teams.Checking levels, coordinates, alignments and dimensions.Interpreting construction drawings, specifications and technical information.Undertaking as-built surveys and maintaining accurate records.Establishing and maintaining site control points and benchmarks.Working closely with subcontractors to ensure works are constructed correctly and to ..... full job details .....
