We are looking for a Site Engineer to support the delivery of a major power infrastructure project in Colchester. This is a hands-on engineering role, with your day-to-day work focused on the installation of underground ducting and associated civils works. You will be responsible for setting out the line and level of trenches using GPS and an iCON controller, supporting the installation of ducts with a CBS (Cement Bound Sand) surround, testing and backfilling. Quality and record keeping will also form an important part of the position. You will be responsible for completing daily as-builts, photographs and check forms, ensuring all required information is accurately recorded as works progress.
