Site Engineer

A short-term, holiday cover, opportunity exists for an experienced Site Engineer to oversee and mentor two junior Engineers, on a small but busy water project in West Yorkshire.

The works consist of the construction of a piling platform, piling, drainage, connection into and diverting of existing mains. 

Your duties will include -

• Setting out the works
• Daily diary
• Progress photographs
• Quality Checks
• Signing off of ITPs
• Guiding/mentoring junior Engineers

Requirements for the post include -

• Extensive setting out experience on similar projects preferably for tier one or principal Contractors
• Self-motivated, reliable and can work unsupervised
• Familiar with Trimble R12 GPS, Leica Icon machine control and grade lasers 
• As-builts using AutoCAD
• CSCS, First Aid and SMSTS/SSSTS (advantageous)
