Carmichael UK are seeking a Site Engineer to work with a Tier 1 contractor on a Sewage Treatment Works project in the Oxfordshire area. Your Role: You ll provide technical, organisational, and supervisory support to the project delivery team, playing a hands-on role in site setting out, levelling, surveying, and general site coordination. You ll act as the main technical point of contact for subcontractors and site teams ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to spec. Key Responsibilities: Setting out, levelling, and surveying using GPS, Total Stations, laser levels Checking plans and drawings for accuracy and working with designers/engineers Acting as a main technical adviser on-site to operatives and subcontractors Monitoring HandS and quality standards in line with project requirements Collaborating across site teams, consultants, and local authorities Organising plant, materials, and labour for site delivery Maintaining accurate reports, as-builts, and site records Resolving technical issues and unforeseen challenges efficiently What We re Looking For: Civil Engineering or Construction background, with experience in the water sector Strong working knowledge of site setting out, surveying, and QA procedures Full UK Driving Licence (essential for site mobility) Excellent communication and collaborative skills Proficient in construction technology, HandS legislation, and software tools Able to manage multiple priorities with a ..... full job details .....
