      <description>Location: Saint Neots | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Contract | Carmichael UK  are recruiting for an experienced  Site Engineer  to join a leading  Tier 1 contractor  delivering a major highways project in  Cambridgeshire .  This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role on a high-profile infrastructure project, supporting the successful delivery of highways and associated civil engineering works. Key Responsibilities 	 Setting out and surveying of highways and civil engineering works 	 Managing quality assurance documentation, ITPs and as-built records 	 Supporting the delivery team with technical guidance and engineering solutions 	 Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to specification 	 Raising and managing RFIs 	 Coordinating subcontractors and site activities 	 Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate site records  Requirements 	 Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways or major infrastructure projects 	 Strong knowledge of earthworks, drainage, pavements and structures 	 Proficient with Leica or Trimble surveying equipment 	 CSCS Card required 	 Ability to manage QA documentation and site reportin 	 Strong communication and problem-solving skills</description>
