Site Engineer

Carmichael UK are recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering a major highways project in Cambridgeshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role on a high-profile infrastructure project, supporting the successful delivery of highways and associated civil engineering works.

• Setting out and surveying of highways and civil engineering works
• Managing quality assurance documentation, ITPs and as-built records
• Supporting the delivery team with technical guidance and engineering solutions
• Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to specification
• Raising and managing RFIs
• Coordinating subcontractors and site activities
• Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate site records

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways or major infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of earthworks, drainage, pavements and structures
• Proficient with Leica or Trimble surveying equipment
• CSCS Card required
• Ability to manage QA documentation and site reportin
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
