      <description>Location: Brackley | Salary: &amp;pound;375 - &amp;pound;400/day | Type: Contract | Role Overview   We are seeking an experienced  Freelance Site Engineer  to join a major infrastructure project on  HS2 in Brackley , supporting the delivery of  highways and drainage works .  This role will suit a technically strong engineer with proven experience in  setting out, QA and site coordination , working within large-scale civil engineering or infrastructure environments.   Key Responsibilities   	 Carry out  setting out and surveying  for highways and drainage works ensuring accuracy and compliance with design specifications 	 Deliver  engineering control  for works including earthworks, roads, kerbing, and drainage systems (surface water &amp; foul) 	 Undertake  quality assurance processes , including inspections, ITPs and as-built records  	 Monitor and report on  progress, quality and site issues , escalating where required 	 Support the management of  subcontractors and site teams  to ensure delivery to programme  	 Maintain accurate  site records, surveys and red-line drawings  	 Ensure full compliance with  HS2 health, safety, environmental and quality standards   	 Liaise with  design teams, site management and wider engineering teams  to resolve technical issues and...</description>
