Site Engineer

My client are a well-established and highly respected main building contractor with a strong presence across the North West. Due to continued growth and a healthy project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their delivery team on a range of high-quality construction schemes.

The Role
This is a key position on-site, supporting the successful delivery of projects across sectors such as education, healthcare, commercial, and residential up to -60m. You''ll work closely with the site management team to ensure all engineering aspects are delivered accurately, safely, and in line with programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying works in accordance with project drawings
• Interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Ensuring quality control and compliance with industry standards
• Coordinating with subcontractors and site teams
• Supporting site management with daily engineering duties
• Identifying and resolving technical issues
• Promoting and maintaining high health & safety standards

About You

• Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or similar
• Previous experience as a Site Engineer within the construction sector
• Proficient with setting out equipment
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Full UK driving licence
