This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineer to join a well-established team working on technically challenging schemes, including substations, steel-framed buildings, and other major construction projects.The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining engineering excellence on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This position would particularly suit candidates based in North East Scotland or those willing to travel extensively throughout the region.Site Engineer / Senior Engineer Position OverviewCarry out accurate site setting out and surveying activities using Total Stations, GPS, and other surveying equipment.Interpret, review, and challenge construction drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements and specifications.Raise and manage technical queries, working closely with project teams to resolve engineering issues.Support the implementation and completion of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.Produce accurate material take-offs to assist with procurement planning and resource management.Complete detailed as-built surveys and maintain comprehensive site records for quality ..... full job details .....
