      <description>Location: Longthorpe | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Contract | Site Engineer    Contract until End of 2026     Location: Peterborough         An excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading infrastructure contractor delivering major civil engineering projects. You''ll play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications.        Key Responsibilities    Manage on-site engineering activities and support project delivery teams.  Ensure work areas are correctly set out and permits are in place.  Maintain site surveys, records, diaries, and progress documentation.  Coordinate with project teams, supervisors, and suppliers to ensure safe working practices.  Review drawings and raise technical queries with the design team.  Mentor and support junior engineers.         Requirements    Experience in a site engineering role on infrastructure or civil engineering projects.  Strong communication and organisational skills.  Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.  Civil Engineering qualification (HNC, HND, BEng, MEng, BSc, MSc, or equivalent).  SMSTS and First Aid certification.
