Site Engineer

Atheray Stone are currently looking for a Site Engineer to work for a Main Contractor who are delivering key infrastructure works for Oxfordshire County Council.

The Ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a Highways or Structures environment, for a similar Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor.

Responsibilities:

• Perform surveying and setting out duties
• Review drawings and quantities for accuracy
• Schedule materials and coordinate with procurement
• Plan and organise site operations to meet deadlines
• Liaise with consultants and subcontractors
• Supervise site labour and subcontractor performance
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards
• Maintain quality records and resolve technical issues
• Arrange and conduct material testing and instrument calibration
• Maintain a detailed site diary
• Collaborate with the wider site team and other departments
• Identify and implement improvements and innovations
• Support the Sub / Site Agent with additional duties as required

Candidate Profile

• Degree / HNC Qualified in Civil Engineering
• At least one year post grad experience working for Tier 1/ Tier 2 contractor
• Previous Highways / Structures experience-
• Full UK Driving Licence-
