Site Engineer

Site Engineer - Civils / Groundworks

Location: Argyll & Bute
Contract: 6 Month
Rate: -450500 p/d Inside IR35

We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major civils project, supporting the delivery of groundwork''s and civil engineering packages.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out and surveying for civils and groundwork''s activities.
• Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications and approved procedures.
• Manage and maintain ITPs, QA/QC documentation and site records.
• Provide technical support to site teams and subcontractors.
• Review drawings, raise technical queries and assist with resolving site issues.
• Coordinate subcontractors, materials, plant and labour as required.
• Monitor progress and provide updates to the Site and Project Management teams.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
• Maintain accurate as-built information and engineering documentation.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong background in groundwork''s, earthworks and general civils.
• Proven setting out and surveying experience.
• Experience with ITPs, QA/QC and construction documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• CSCS card required.
• Relevant Civil Engineering qualification desirable.

• Experience with RC, drainage, highways or structures would be advantageous.
