Site Engineer

An opportunity for a freelance Site Engineer to work on a major, high-profile project in Somerset.

With over 12 months of work, this role is a good opportunity for a long-term freelance position.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working with Setting-out, surveying and quality assurance (QA), as well as an extensive background working in Civil Engineering.

As Site Engineer-you will:

• Have experience in Civil Engineering schemes that include earthworks.
• Provide levelling and surveying across the site, checking drawings and quantities and ensuring the accuracy of calculations.
• Have experience with GPS machine guidance/control and QA.
• Issue permits and method statements.

Our client requires a Site Engineer with:

• Valid CSCS and experience in both setting-out and surveying.
• A good understanding of Trimble or Leica.
• Excellent communication skills.
• HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience working with earthworks, piling and culverts.

Salary and benefits include:

-375425 per day PAYE Umbrella
