Site Cleaner

Manpower are currently recruiting for a site cleaner for a prestigious logistics client based in Tyseley, Birmingham.
As a site cleaner you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the site. This involves tasks like sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces, as well as waste disposal and potentially some minor maintenance or repairs. You will ensure the site is presentable and safe for users, following health and safety guidelines.
My Duties will include

• Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming: Keeping floors, surfaces, and furniture clean and free of debris.
• Sanitizing: Disinfecting high-touch areas like doorknobs, light switches, and countertops to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Restroom cleaning and stocking: Ensuring restrooms are clean, stocked with necessary supplies (toilet paper, soap, etc.), and well-maintained.
• Waste disposal: Emptying rubbish bins and replacing liners promptly.
• Window cleaning: Washing windows and glass surfaces to maintain clarity and cleanliness.
• Cleaning spills and accidents: Responding to and cleaning up spills, accidents, and other messes promptly.
• Maintaining cleanliness of kitchens and common areas: Ensuring kitchens, break rooms, and other shared spaces are clean and organized.

Suitable candidates will have

• Previous cleaning experience
• Physical Fitness, able to carry out physical tasks like lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• A keen eye for detail is crucial for identifying and addressing areas that require cleaning.
• Clear communication with clients or supervisors is important for reporting issues and understanding instructions.
• Understanding how to use cleaning products safely and efficiently is essential.
• Adhering to safety protocols and health regulations is crucial, especially when handling chemicals or working in potentially hazardous environments.
• Ability to Work Independently

This is an ongoing temporary position with an immediate start working 8am - 4pm Monday - Friday paying £12.21 per hour
