This is an excellent opportunity to join a knowledgeable team where your expertise will be valued, your development supported, and no two days are the same.Working at a busy hazardous waste treatment facility, you''ll play a key role in ensuring waste is assessed, handled and processed safely and compliantly, while supporting operational excellence across the site.The RoleAs a Site Chemist, you''ll be responsible for the technical assessment, acceptance and management of hazardous waste streams, ensuring all activities are carried out safely and in line with environmental legislation and site permits.Your responsibilities will include:Assessing, identifying and classifying hazardous waste streams.Ensuring compliance with site permits, environmental legislation and waste acceptance criteria.Sampling, inspecting and verifying incoming waste materials.Supporting the safe storage, segregation and processing of hazardous waste.Preparing and maintaining accurate technical documentation and waste tracking records.Liaising with operational teams to ensure safe and efficient site ..... full job details .....
