Site-Based Quality Engineer

NES Fircroft are currently recruiting for a Site-Based Quality Engineer for our client, who are a global, industry leader in power technology. Site-Based Quality Engineer Location: Finstown and Dounreay Duration: initial 12-month contract Outside IR35 Role Summary The Site-Based Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting the Project Quality Manager, Project Manager and Site Manager by providing risk-focused quality assurance across manufacturing, construction, installation, commissioning and handover activities. The role ensures compliance with contractual requirements, project controls, quality standards and technical specifications through audits, inspections and documentation reviews. Working closely with project teams, clients, suppliers and subcontractors, the successful candidate will monitor quality performance, manage non-conformances and support the successful delivery and handover of project documentation and records. Key AccountabilitiesAct as the site quality focal point for the company, the client and the project delivery team.Provide guidance and support to site personnel on quality requirements and project controls.Deliver risk-based audits and inspections across suppliers, subcontractors and site activities.Verify compliance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), specifications, applicable standards and contractual requirements.Manage quality records, defects, non-conformances, concessions and handover documentation.Monitor quality performance and ..... full job details .....
