Overview
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking Site Assistant to join our existing Site Team in maintaining the school site in order to provide a clean and safe environment for all users of the school. The successful candidate will work with the site and maintenance team ensuring general repairs and maintenance are carried out. You will need to be able to use your initiative and problem solve whilst ensuring that health and safety regulations are adhered to. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our established site team at Wildern School.
Responsibilities
Show initiative, be proactive, have good organisational and time management skillsBe a team player and a member of our school communityBe able to work in a flexible manner to support the needs of the schoolTake responsibility for security and be a key holderUndertake a range of repairs and maintenance and ensure lighting and heating are operationalEnsure that a high level of confidentiality and professionalism is maintainedCarry out the compliance checks as required (Full training provided)
Qualifications / Skills
Specific trade strengths in any area would be an advantage but not essentialLifting, moving and handling of furniture and deliveries also form an important part of the jobFull health and safety training will be provided
