Site Agent - Southampton

We are looking to speak with experienced Site Agents to join a hugely successful contractor specialising in Water Projects. 

You will be joining a really lovely team of people, working for a firm who really look after their staff.

They have been awarded a large amount of work as part of the AMP 8 framework and therefore need an experienced Site Agent / Sub Agent to jump on board!  

The large projects is based in Hampshire and typical works will include: 

• Pipelines
• New Pumping Stations
• Water Treatment Works 

Reporting into the Project Manager, you will be responsible for projects from award to handover. Key duties will include: 

• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with C.D.M. Regulations 
• Assist in the preparation of construction programmes, preparation of Method Statements, Action Plans and Risk Assessments.
• Setting out the works
• Checking site work to ensure compliance with the specification and drawings.
• Agreement of site measurements and records with the client’s staff.
• Assist in maintaining drawing files, drawing register and site filling system.
• Liaise with the design department to ensure updated information is always used

What do you need? 

You''ll ideally need the following:

• BTEC National or HNC in Civil Engineering/Construction (minimum)
• Levelling & Surveying experience (using total stations & automatic level)
• First Aid at Work qualification
• SSSTS
• CSCS Supervision card
• EUSR SHEA Water (desirable)
