Site Agent

We are working with a well-established and successful civil engineering contractor to assist them in hiring a Site Agent for their growing team in Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Agent to take responsibility for the successful delivery of civil engineering projects, working closely with the Project Manager and site team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

As the Site Agent your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Managing the day-to-day operations of projects, ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently.

- Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure programme requirements are achieved.

- Monitoring project progress, costs, quality and productivity.

- Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and relevant standards.

- Maintaining accurate site records, documentation and project reporting.

- Working closely with the Project Manager, Commercial Team and client representatives to resolve issues and drive project delivery.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

- Previous experience working as a Site Agent or Senior Site Supervisor within civil engineering.

- Strong knowledge of civil engineering construction methods and site management practices.

- Experience managing site teams, subcontractors and project delivery.

- Good understanding of health & safety, quality and environmental requirements.

- Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills with a proactive approach.
