Site Agent - Rail

Our client is seeking an experienced Site Agent to support the delivery of rail engineering works on a six-month contract. Working within a multidisciplinary project team, the Site Agent will help coordinate site activities, manage subcontractors and ensure works are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Support the Project Manager in leading multidisciplinary teams and achieving project objectivesAct as a key point of contact for client representatives and other stakeholdersPlan and coordinate daily site activities, subcontractor packages and project integrationDevelop Work Package Plans, Inspection Test Plans, material check sheets and four-week lookahead schedulesOversee construction quality, conduct inspections, manage defects and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and contractual requirementsReview subcontractor designs, documentation, RAMS and risk assessmentsMonitor scope, progress, costs and change, ensuring accurate project reporting and timely escalation of variancesMaintain construction logs, technical queries, site records, as-built drawings and assurance documentation through to handover and closeoutJob Requirements:Experience working as a Site Agent within rail, civil engineering or construction environmentsPTS/Sentinel certificationValid CSCS certificationStrong understanding of Network Rail procedures, rail safety requirements and site delivery practicesKnowledge of quality ..... full job details .....
