Works Manager / Site Agent Civils Location: Leiston / Sizewell area, Suffolk Duration: Long term Start: September We are looking for an experienced Works Manager / Site Agent to join a major civil engineering scheme based near Leiston, Suffolk. Candidates must have a strong background in civil engineering, with proven experience managing earthworks and heavy civils packages. This role would suit someone who has previously worked on major infrastructure, highways or large-scale ground engineering projects. Duties Managing day-to-day site operations and construction activities Coordinating engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and site teams Managing programme, productivity and sequencing of works Overseeing earthworks, drainage, roads and associated civils Ensuring works are delivered safely and in accordance with specifications Managing RAMS, permits and site documentation Monitoring quality and health and safety standards Liaising with project management, engineering teams and client representatives Producing progress reports and resolving site issues Requirements Proven experience as a Works Manager or Site Agent within civil engineering Strong experience managing earthworks and heavy civils Previous experience on major infrastructure or highways projects Experience with drainage, roads, groundworks and associated civils SMSTS First Aid Appropriate CSCS card Strong leadership and site management skills Candidates without a solid civils background will not be suitable ..... full job details .....
