Site Agent

We are currently recruiting for a Freelance Site Agent to join a well-established, multi-million-pound civils contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across the North West.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Agent with a strong civil engineering background to take responsibility for the successful delivery of enabling works, site preparation and haul road construction, working alongside the Project Manager and wider site team.The RoleAs Site Agent, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of civil engineering works, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, to programme and in accordance with the required quality standards.The role will have a particular focus on enabling works and early-stage infrastructure, including site establishment, access and haul road construction ahead of the main works.Key responsibilities include:- Managing the day-to-day delivery of civil engineering works.- Supervising Site Engineers, Sub Agents, General Foremen and subcontractors.- Planning and coordinating enabling works and site preparation.- Overseeing the construction of haul roads, access routes and working platforms.- Managing earthworks, excavation, material movements and site logistics.- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with programme and project requirements.- Producing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs and Work Package Plans.- Monitoring progress and reporting against programme.- Coordinating labour, plant, materials and ..... full job details .....
