Site Agent

A leading regional contractor is looking to appoint an experienced-Site Agent-to join its growing rail infrastructure division.

The company delivers a wide range of rail and civil engineering projects throughout-South Wales, including:

• Railway stations and associated infrastructure
• Underbridges and overbridges
• Embankments and earthworks
• Civil engineering and infrastructure works
• General rail-related construction projects

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within-rail infrastructure or civil engineering, with a strong understanding of site management, health and safety, quality, programme delivery and subcontractor management. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and highly regarded regional contracting group at an exciting time of growth, with a strong pipeline of projects across South Wales.

The Role:

• Manage day-to-day site operations and construction activities
• Lead and coordinate site teams and subcontractors
• Ensure works are delivered safely to programme and within budget
• Maintain high standards of quality and compliance
• Work closely with project management and commercial teams
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with relevant rail and construction standards

The Candidate:

• Previous experience as a Site Agent, Site Manager or similar
• Rail infrastructure and/or civil engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Relevant industry qualifications
• Rail experience and relevant competencies would be advantageous
