Site Agent / Manager - HighwaysLocation: Suffolk Rate: 35 per hour Hours: 45 hours per week (8am-5pm) Start Date: ASAP Interview Process: Immediate interviews available We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Agent / Manager to join a busy highways maintenance and improvement contract in Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term highways framework delivering planned and reactive works for the local authority. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and within budget while maintaining high health and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise highways schemes and reactive works on siteEnsure safe systems of work, RAMS and Construction Phase Plans are implemented and adhered toCoordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors efficientlyMaintain accurate site records, diaries and progress reportsLiaise with stakeholders including local authorities, network managers and supply chain partnersSupport programme delivery, phasing plans and buildability reviewsMonitor commercial performance and assist with cost controlPromote a strong health and safety culture across site operationsRequirementsSSSTS and CSCS essentialIOSH desirableStrong understanding of health and safety and safe systems of workPrevious highways or construction site management experienceLocal authority or highways maintenance experience advantageousStrong communication and leadership ..... full job details .....
