Your new companyA well-established civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Agent to support the delivery of infrastructure and highways projects in the Dudley area. With a strong order book and a reputation for delivering complex civil engineering schemes, they are looking for a proactive individual to join the team on a freelance basis.Your new roleAs Site Agent, you will work alongside the Site Manager and report directly to the Contracts Manager, taking responsibility for the safe and successful delivery of a highway and civil engineering scheme in Dudley.Managing day-to-day site operations across drainage, kerbing, paving and Section 278 worksCoordinating subcontractors, labour, plant and materialsMonitoring programme performance and ensuring works are delivered on scheduleReviewing and interpreting construction drawings and specificationsEnsuring high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental complianceConducting site inspections and overseeing quality control processesMaintaining accurate site records and reporting progress to the Contracts ManagerLiaising with project stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of worksSupporting the Site Manager with the overall management and performance of the projectIdentifying and resolving site issues to minimise programme impacts and delaysWhat you''ll need to succeedPrevious experience working as a Site Agent within civil engineering or highwaysStrong background delivering drainage, kerbing and ..... full job details .....
