Site Agent - Civils

We are working with a well-established and growing civil engineering contractor to assist them in hiring a Site Agent for their team in Inverness.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Agent to take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of civil engineering projects across the Highlands. Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team, you will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.


As the Site Agent your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Managing the day-to-day operations of the project, ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently.

- Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain progress against programme.

- Monitoring project progress, productivity, quality and costs.

- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and relevant standards.

- Maintaining accurate site records, reporting progress and supporting programme updates.

- Liaising with the Project Manager, Commercial Team, clients and other stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project delivery.


The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

- Previous experience working as a Site Agent or Senior Site Supervisor within civil engineering.

- Strong knowledge of civil engineering construction methods and site management.

- Experience managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.

- Good understanding of health & safety, quality and environmental requirements.

- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills with a proactive approach to project delivery.
