Liverpool, Manchester, Merseyside, North of England, North West, North West England A regional civil engineering contractor is seeking a driven, determined and ambitious individual to join their team based on a project in North West.The successful candidate will be working on civil Highways projects across the North West region valued up to £50mCandidate Requirements:Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering or similar5 Years’ Experience in Civil Engineering working on highways, structures and infrastructureExperience of working in schemes worth £7M-£10MAdvantageous if you possess flood and river protection experience but not necessaryKey Responsibilities:Management of site staff, operatives and sub-contractorsProvide method statements, risk assessments and project management plansUnderstand tender allowances and monitor contract loss against agreed budgetsPreparing and monitoring programmes of workFoster good relations and reputation with clientsManage design co-ordinationAssessment and engagement of sub-contractorsManage contracts to ensure timely and profitable completion of contractsSupervise, mentor and assist in the career development of junior staffThe company encourage a great work/life balance and thus offer a competitive 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, life assurance cover, company pension scheme, childcare vouchers anda car or car allowance.Apply For This Job
