Site Agent - Infrastructure Projects

Astute''s Power team are currently recruiting for a Site Agent to support an infrastructure project. This is an opportunity for an experienced construction professional to lead a multi-disciplinary site team, overseeing safe delivery, quality, programme performance and commercial control across infrastructure works.

• Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team of Sub Agents, Section Engineers, Site Engineers and Foremen.

• Drive health, safety and environmental standards, promoting a Zero Harm culture and ensuring safe systems of work are followed.

• Manage site resources, subcontractor performance and workforce competency.

• Oversee quality control, site audits, handover documentation and self-certification of works.

• Monitor programme progress, analyse productivity and implement operational target programmes.

• Manage budgets, cost forecasts, risk schedules and commercial reporting.

• Support subcontractor procurement and maintain accurate project records.

• Coordinate risk reviews, incident investigations and continuous improvement activities.

• Essential: SMSTS qualification, current CSCS card and full driving licence.

• Experience managing infrastructure works, including pavement reconstruction and surfacing operations, phasing and contingency planning.

• Strong understanding of health and safety legislation, technical drawings, programme management and subcontractor KPIs.

• Working knowledge of NEC and other relevant forms of contract.

• Flexible to work unsociable hours or nights where required by the programme.

• Location: Aberdeen

• Rate: -50 per hour

• IR35 status: Inside IR35

• Contract length: 12 months
