      <description>Location: Bristol | Salary: 55000.00-55000.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | Abatec is assisting their client, a leading regional contractor to recruit a Site Agent on a Permanent basis to support the delivery of highways and civil engineering projects across Somerset, North Somerset, and Gloucestershire area. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the planning, coordination, and delivery of site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role will suit an individual with a strong background in highways, infrastructure, and civil engineering works, who is confident managing site teams, subcontractors, and client relationships. As Site Agent you will:  Taking day-to-day responsibility for site delivery, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently and to the required standards Implementing and maintaining health and safety, quality and environmental controls in line with project and company procedures Managing and coordinating subcontractors, plant, materials and suppliers on site Liaising with the site manager and foreman as to what engineering is needed onsite and holding daily engineering briefings with the onsite engineers.
