About the Role

RGB is seeking a Site Administrator/Assistant to join their construction site team in Plymouth on a permanent, full-time basis. Working Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm, this role offers a salary of £12.71 per hour. The position involves providing administrative support to the site team, assisting Site Managers and Engineers with day-to-day tasks, and helping the Quantity Surveyor with measurements and related duties. The successful candidate will maintain the site office efficiently while collaborating with various project personnel. This role suits someone who enjoys variety and wants to gain exposure to different aspects of construction operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong organisational abilities, proficiency with standard office software, and a willingness to support multiple team members. Prior experience in a construction environment is beneficial but not essential. The working pattern requires full-time attendance on site in Plymouth.

The Opportunity
We’re looking for a motivated and organised Site Assistant to join a busy construction site team in Plymouth.  This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, supporting the day-to-day running of a live site while gaining valuable experience across multiple areas of construction.
You’ll play a key role in keeping the site office running smoothly, working closely with Site Managers, Engineers, and the wider project team.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the site team
- Assist Site Managers and Engineers with general tasks
- Support the Quantity Surveyor with measurements and take-offs
- Check contractor measurements for accuracy
- Coordinate and carry out site inductions
- Print and distribute drawings to site teams
- Maintain site documentation, records, and filing systems
- Assist with timesheets, purchase orders, and invoice processing
- Handle incoming calls and general correspondence
- Update spreadsheets and internal systems
- Support health and safety documentation and compliance

- Good communication and organisational skills
- A team player who can also use their own initiative
- Driving licence as you may need to move vehicles on site
- Good Microsoft Office and general IT skills
