Signalling Design Engineer - Immediate Start Birmingham 6 month contract Outside IR35My client has an opportunity to join them as a signalling design engineer in their Rail Infrastructure business where you will direct all activities of the teams to achieve the safe implementation of signalling projects to the customer''s specifications and timescales agreed. You will also check the quality of output from the relevant section is to the required standards and target dates are achieved.Candidate Responsibilities:Undertake design production/checking of the signalling detail design as per relevant standards and Signalling Design SpecificationsPerforming complex railway signal design tasks to relevant standards, industry codes and practicesInteracting with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimum outcomeProvide functional support and guidance to junior Design staff for all aspects of Signalling DesignAssist in the risk assessment of planned and completed designsCandidate Requirements:Engineering Degree/HND/HNC qualificationIRSE Signalling Designer Licence and Verifier licence will be advantageStrong and effective communication and presentation skills Experienced in Scheme Plans, LAP, Specifications, SSI Wiring, Fringe DesignsSSI (Westlock) data and Control tables Design experience will be desirableWTS- Westlock trackside system technology knowledge will be advantage.APPLY NOW.
