Signalling Design EngineerRail ClientContract duration - initially until 26/02/2027 with potential extensions 400 - 500 per day Location - Birmingham IR35 - outside Responsibilities:Undertake design production/checking of the signalling detail design as per relevant standards and Signalling Design SpecificationsPerforming complex railway signal design tasks to relevant standards, industry codes and practicesInteracting with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimum outcomeProvide functional support and guidance to junior Design staff for all aspects of Signalling DesignAssist in the risk assessment of planned and completed designs Requirements:Engineering Degree/HND/HNC qualificationIRSE Signalling Designer Licence and Verifier licence will be advantageStrong and effective communication and presentation skills Experienced in Scheme Plans, LAP, Specifications, SSI Wiring, Fringe DesignsSSI (Westlock) data and Control tables Design experience will be desirableWTS- Westlock trackside system technology knowledge will be advantage.
