DSP Communications Engineer – Secure Wireless Systems
An industry-leading technology firm developing secure, high-performance wireless communication systems is seeking a DSP Communications Engineer to join their advanced R&D team. This role focuses on modem and waveform development for defense and critical infrastructure applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and model DSP algorithms (MATLAB, Python, C ) for modem signal chains.
- Implement framing, pulse shaping, tracking loops, AGC, and coding schemes (LDPC, Turbo, etc.).
- Analyze performance under channel impairments (low SNR, Doppler, jamming).
- Support FPGA teams with algorithm implementation.
Preferred Skills:
- End-to-end waveform development
- Adaptive modulation/coding, LPI/LPD design
- Knowledge of standards (e.g., DVB-S2X), SystemVerilog/VHDL, GNU Radio
