Sign Services and Traffic Management OperativeLeicestershire £14.59phThe postholder will undertake a range of duties associated with temporary traffic management, including the installation, maintenance, delivery, and collection of traffic management signage. The role provides practical experience in technical traffic management practices, safe working procedures, and the use of specialist equipment and power tools.Key responsibilities include: Installing, maintaining, and removing traffic management signs and equipment in accordance with approved traffic management plans.Assisting with the scheduling and coordination of resources required for the delivery and collection of signage and equipment across designated routes.Maintaining flexibility throughout operational activities, responding effectively to changes in schedules caused by early completions, delays, or unforeseen circumstances.Interpreting and working from traffic management plans, drawings, and associated documentation.Conducting daily vehicle and plant inspections, routine maintenance checks, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations, including driver hours requirements, safe loading practices, and vehicle safety standards.
