SIA Security Guards - Events

Job Summary We are seeking professional SIA Security Guards to work at Goodwood Racecourse for the May Festival horse racing event taking place over 2 days on Friday 22nd May and Saturday 23rd May 2026. You will be ensuring the safety and security of attendees and premises. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a calm demeanour, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment during the event. Duties and skills will be: Check guest tickets and passes and allow access Report any incidents to the relevant safety teams / supervisors Enforce venue policies and ensure all attendees adhere to safety regulations throughout the event. Proven experience in working events would be advantageous Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple responsibilities during busy events. Excellent observational skills with an eye for detail in identifying potential issues.
