We are seeking a professional who specialises in formwork and structural timber, prioritising precision and structural integrity in a fast-paced environment.Comprehensive Role SpecificationThe successful candidate will be responsible for the construction and installation of formwork to hold setting concrete. Key responsibilities include:Formwork Fabrication: Building and assembling timber or metal shutters, including specialized pans and systems for walls, columns, and slabs.Reading Blueprints: Interpreting detailed technical drawings and specifications to ensure the accurate placement of formwork.Structural Support: Installing internal bracing, tie-rods, and shoring to ensure formwork remains rigid and secure during the concrete pour.Detailing: Creating precise openings for doors, windows, and service penetrations within the shuttering.Striking and Cleaning: Carefully removing formwork once concrete has set (striking) and maintaining equipment for future use.Compliance: Adhering strictly to Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations and ensuring a clean and safe working environment at all timesRequirementsValid Blue CSCS Card: Skilled Worker (Formwork/Joinery).Full Tool Kit: Suitable for all aspects of shuttering joinery.Full PPE: Hard Hat, High-Visibility ..... full job details .....
