Shuttering Carpenter

Location: Selborne, Hampshire
Rate: £22.90 per hour PAYE
Hours: 50 hours paid per week
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Minimum 12 months

VGC Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Shuttering Carpenter to join a major infrastructure project based in Selborne, Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a large-scale project with a minimum of one year remaining.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of shuttering carpentry works, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

• Construct, install, and dismantle shuttering and formwork systems.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Assemble and position formwork for concrete structures.
• Measure, cut, shape, and fit timber and proprietary formwork systems.
• Work closely with site management and other trades to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a safe working environment and comply with all site health and safety requirements.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.

• Minimum 3 years'' experience working as a Shuttering Carpenter on construction or civil engineering projects.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry (or equivalent qualification).
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of site health and safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

• £22.90 per hour PAYE
• 50 paid hours per week
