Shunter / Fueller Location: KendalPay: £14.00 per hourContract: Temporary Friday and Saturday initially, with ongoing work available based on performanceHours: Friday and Saturday, 2:00pm 12:30amAbout the Role We are currently recruiting for a Shunter / Fueller to join a busy bus depot in Kendal.The role will involve fuelling buses and safely shunting vehicles around the depot, ensuring they are correctly positioned and ready for service.The position will initially be for Friday and Saturday this week, with the opportunity for ongoing work based on performance, reliability and suitability for the role.This is a great opportunity for someone with previous shunting experience who is looking for additional work or the opportunity to establish themselves within a busy transport environment.Key Responsibilities Safely shunt buses around the depotFuel buses ready for serviceMove and position vehicles safely within the depotEnsure buses are parked correctly and ready for operationCarry out basic checks when moving vehiclesFollow all depot health and safety proceduresMaintain a clean, tidy and organised working environmentWork safely and efficiently as part of the depot team Skills and Experience Required Essential: Previous experience driving or manoeuvring larger vehiclesFull UK driving licenceStrong awareness of health and safetyReliable, punctual and hardworkingComfortable working evening shiftsAbility to safely manoeuvre vehicles within a busy depot environment Desirable: ..... full job details .....
