Shunter
Location: Leigh, WN7 3XJ
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 8pm - 6am
Pay: £17 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated Shunter to join our team at our client site in Leigh. This is a rare temp-to-perm opportunity for someone looking to be part of a hardworking, close-knit team.

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding andamp; Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shunting: Move trailers around the yard and into loading bays.
• Assist with strapping and unstrapping loads.
• Identify damage and defects on trailers and report as required

Requirements:

• Previous shunting experience.
• Comfortable with loading bay operations.
• Hold a HGV1 (C+E) license.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to pass an on-site assessment for the role.
