Shunter Driver - 22:00 to 06:00 - HGV Class 1 (C+E)

AB Texel UK are a large, well-established agricultural bulk transport company who are currently recruiting for a reliable HGV Class 1 driver to shunt at our customers premises in Whittlesey. Shift Pattern - We currently have the following shift pattern available: 4 on 4 off Shift (22:00 - 06:00) What are you going to do? This is a physically demanding, yard based role, suited to someone who enjoys being active, working outdoors, and getting stuck in as part of a hard working team. Use a tug to shunt trailers on site as per our customers'' requirements. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when dealing with customers and members of the public Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects in line with company procedures and DVSA requirements Follow all health and safety, site, and company procedures Providing customer service as part of this role._Physical work required:_ Ability to couple and uncouple units and trailers. Ability to load and unload. Ability to climb up onto the back and into trailers. Ability to roll bulker sheet from one side to other, where required. Who are you? Our ideal driver: Feels at home in the agricultural sector. Is in possession of an HGV Class 1 license A clean license is preferred Experience desired, however, full training will be provided.
